Beautiful, heartfelt, and 💯 % on target speech. Congratulations on saving lives and unnecessary suffering. And thank you for relieving taxpayers from being complicit in a lie.

Coincidentally, I listened to the following podcast today, which completely supports your commentary.

Summary: As a teenager, Laura Becker lived in an abusive household and suffered from depression, social anxiety, and substance addiction. She became convinced that transitioning would be the cure. By age 19, she had come out as a transgender gay man using they/them pronouns and was prescribed cross-sex hormones after a one-hour consultation with a gender clinician. At 20 she had both of her breasts removed. Now 26 years old, she regrets those decisions. Becker now advocates for detransitioners. She considers herself “pro-human” and encourages practicing “radical acceptance” of the “necessary imperfections” we are born with.

Nailed it 💪 Thanks for trying to represent truth, which can’t be changed no matter how hard we try. And including God in the debate. That’s how I believe this country was founded, and the only way in which we can preserve its goodness— involving God more intimately.

Well done! Trying to alter biology to conform to "feeling" is not compassionate at all--it just causes more pain. Gender is not about some kind of stereotype--we are wonderfully made, male and female, and that is FACT. What we "feel" about that is up to us, and each of us will "feel" what it means to be male or female in our own ways. The huge medical/pharmacological process that has been built up to gull people into believing that their "feelings" somehow don't "match" their bodies is a monstrous lie.

I thank God that I was not born in these times. I grew up a tomboy, with an utter dislike of how girls socialized, and spent most of my time in high school with boys because I was an academic nerd who broke the curve on the physics exams. In my elementary school years, I wanted to quarterback the Green Bay Packers. I have worked my adult life in two male-dominated professional careers. I hate shopping. I've never understood why women waste time and money getting mani/pedis or spa days. My husband does the cooking. I tend to be fact-based, not feeling-based. Many of my hobbies are more common to men. NONE of these things make me any less a woman, simply because I don't fit the stereotype! We each experience who we are in our own ways--and drastically medicating or surgically altering our bodies to fit some other stereotype is draconian!
